People on the Move: Yunsok Chang, Ari Sarker and TV Seshadri, MasterCard Worldwide (January 2013)

MasterCard Worldwide has announced three new appointments to bolster its Asia-Pacific, Middle East & Africa (APMEA) leadership teams. TV Seshadri is moving from India to Singapore as group executive, global products and solutions (GP&S) for APMEA. Seshadri will assume responsibilities for developing, driving and implementing product strategies and solutions for MasterCard to maximize the APMEA region’s revenue growth. Seshadri has held several management roles within MasterCard over the last 15 years in Singapore and India.
Ari Sarker is moving from Singapore to India to take on the role of division president, South Asia. Sarker will provide leadership to the South Asia team to drive core business growth, executing on the nascent but fast-rising emerging payments opportunities in the subcontinent. Sarker joined MasterCard in December 2010 and has been responsible for the growth of network processing under GP&S for APMEA and across the payment value chain. He spent more than 12 years with GE in a variety of senior roles in accounting, audit, corporate finance and private equity across several key markets in the Americas, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Yunsok Chang has been appointed to a newly created role as group executive, global cross-border program execution based in Singapore. Chang will focus on shaping, planning and executing the global cross-border strategy. He joined MasterCard in 2003 as a country manager for Korea. After his success in Korea, he led the APMEA advisers function before taking on his current role.
