Saxo Bank revamps mobile trading app
Saxo Bank has added new features to its trading app SaxoTrader, which works on iPhone and iPad and is designed to make trading more mobile.
The original app provides users with news, research and analysis as well as quotes and charts on 13,000 instruments. Users can sign up for a free trial and trade on the markets for 20 days using the app. The additional content Saxo Bank has added consists of a custom trading keypad for placing trades and managing open orders and positions, and new charting abilities such as period selector and full screen charts.
“Today, it is more important than ever for Saxo Bank to distinguish ourselves from other mobile platforms in the market,” said Jesper Brigsted Laursen, product manager for mobile trading applications at Saxo Bank. “In highly volatile market conditions, accuracy and speed are vital when placing trades or managing positions. Saxo Bank is dedicated to making the trading experience on iPhone and iPad as easy as possible for our clients.”
Saxo Bank offers trading in FX, CFDs, exchange-traded funds, stocks, futures, options and other derivatives. The company has two other tools for trading – the browser-based SaxoWebTrader, and the downloadable SaxoTrader. The platforms are available in 20 languages. Based in Copenhagen, Saxo bank serves EMEA, Asia, Latin America and Australia.
