People on the Move: Ezediashi Ofili and Marcus Mak, MasterCard (August 2013)

MasterCard has appointed Ezediashi Ofili vice president and business leader to drive growth of its prepaid business in sub-Saharan Africa. He also will oversee MasterCard’s global products and solutions team in the region. He joins MasterCard from Access Bank PLC, where he was the head of business engagement for Northern Nigeria.
MasterCard also appointed Marcus Mak head of merchant marketing for the company’s Asia-Pacific, Middle East & Africa (APMEA) region. Based in Singapore, he will drive business strategy for key merchants and his core responsibilities will include building regional merchant marketing strategies for card acceptance and usage. He has held a variety of leadership roles with payments-related companies.
