Heartland Payment Systems, a Princeton, N.J.-based merchant processor, has been named one of the top technology innovators in the U.S. for seven years in a row by InformationWeek, ranking No. 106 on the 2013 InformationWeek 500, which ranks the most innovative users of business technology in the U.S. Heartland’s award represented recognition for its SmartLink managed network solution.
