People on the Move: Ben Kaplan, CashStar Inc. (October 2013)
CashStar Inc., a Portland, Maine-based provider of digital gifting technology and Paybefore Award-winner, recently announced that Ben Kaplan has been named president and CEO. In addition to his new roles, he remains a member of the company’s board of directors, to which he was appointed in August when he joined CashStar as chief operating officer. Kaplan has more than 20 years of experience, serving most recently as chief operating officer at Cartera Commerce, a provider of card-linked marketing solutions for merchants, banks and loyalty programs.
