People on the Move: Paul Galant, VeriFone Systems Inc. (October 2013)
VeriFone Systems Inc., a San Jose, Calif.-based payment solutions provider, announced that its board of directors has appointed Paul Galant CEO and member of the board of directors. Prior to joining the company, he served as CEO of Citigroup Inc.’s Enterprise Payments business since 2010, where he developed digital payments services for Citi’s institutional and government clients. Galant also served as CEO of Citi Cards, heading Citigroup’s North American and International Consumer Credit Cards business, and CEO of Citi Transaction Services.
