PFS Expands Reload Network with Ukash (Oct. 16, 2013)
Prepaid Financial Services (PFS), a London-based provider of global prepaid solutions, announced that its cardholders throughout Europe now can load their prepaid cards using the Ukash e-money service. Ukash codes can be purchased with cash from thousands of retail outlets, and the 19-digit code can be used to transfer funds by logging into the cardholder’s prepaid account online.
“We already provide a comprehensive range of loading options, which allow customers to add funds to their prepaid card account using credit/debit cards online or via SMS, bank and wage transfers, as well as cash loading at Payzone and the post office,” said PFS CEO Noel Moran, adding that the deal with Ukash enables PFS to enhance its reload network across Europe.
PFS, which was named a Breakout Company of the Year at the 2013 Paybefore Awards Europe, has been expanding its presence since receiving an e-money license in the U.K. Earlier this year, PFS signed a deal with Frankfurt-based acquirer Deutsche Card Services to develop and deliver prepaid card solutions across Europe for corporate clients. And, PFS last summer issued a MasterCard-branded prepaid card in Slovenia.
