People on the Move: Andrew Patterson, Mercury Payment Systems LLC
Mercury Payment Systems LLC, Mercury Payment Systems, a Durango, Colo.-based payment processor, has appointed Andrew Patterson chief technology officer. He will be responsible for software engineering, technology infrastructure, business intelligence, quality assurance and architecture for the organization. Patterson, who has more than a decade of technology and management experience, previously served as director of software development at Moneris Solutions Inc., and later as the company’s vice president of payments software and emerging products.
Also, Mercury Payment Systems recently received the bronze award for in the “Frontline Customer Service Team” category at the eighth annual Stevie Awards for sales and customer Service.
