People on the Move: Jeffrey Shanahan, CardConnect
CardConnect, a Philadelphia-based payments technology company, announced that Jeffrey Shanahan, who has served as president of the company since 2008, has been appointed CEO. Founder and former CEO Brian Shanahan will become non-executive chairman of the board. A long-tenured executive in the payments industry, Brian founded CardConnect in 2006, and will continue to guide the company’s growth strategy.
Jeffrey has held a variety of leadership positions since joining the company in 2006, including chief operating officer, president and member of the board of directors. Previously, he served as an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton and Capgemini.
