People on the Move: Michael Manos, First Data Corp.
First Data Corp., an Atlanta-based payments processor, has appointed Michael Manos as chief technology officer, responsible for First Data’s global technology infrastructure. Manos will be based in Atlanta and report directly to Guy Chiarello, company president. Manos previously served as AOL’s chief technology officer for one of firm’s business units, the AOL Brand group, where he led the technology teams for AIM, the AOL homepage and the entertainment, autos, commerce and lifestyle sites. He also served as vice president at Nokia, where he was responsible for global operations, consolidation and restructuring of service operations for commercial-facing products and services.
