People on the Move: James Lipham and Paul Todd, TSYS
TSYS, a Columbus, Ga.-based processor, has announced the retirement of James B. Lipham as senior executive vice president and chief financial officer effective June 30, 2014, and the TSYS board of directors appointment of Paul M. Todd to take over the role. Lipham has been an instrumental figure and key player in the success of TSYS for nearly 30 years, and his contributions to TSYS and its shareholders have been innumerable, according to the company.
Todd has served as executive vice president for strategy, mergers and acquisitions, product and marketing since 2008. Over the past four years, Todd directed TSYS’ diversification strategy, which included four acquisitions in the direct merchant acquiring business and TSYS’ largest acquisition, NetSpend.
