People on the Move: John Caron, CashStar Inc.
CashStar, a Portland, Maine-based provider of digital gifting technology and Paybefore Award-winner, has appointed John Caron chief marketing officer. He will lead corporate and product marketing efforts in support of the company’s growth plans. Caron has more than 20 years of marketing, management and entrepreneurial experience in retail e-commerce, promotions and mobile. He recently served as vice president of marketing at Catalina Marketing, a digital media network for consumer packaged goods retailers and brands.
