People on the Move: Martha Weaver, Gift Card Network
The Gift Card Network, a gift card-specific marketing and collaboration platform, has named Martha Weaver director. She will spearhead business development, marketing, committee moderation, the development of peer-contributed educational content, events and member benefits. Weaver has nearly 15 years of gift card industry experience. She most recently served as product marketing manager at Travel Tags Inc., where she focused on deep market research, trend analysis, product development and marketing initiatives. The Gift Card Network’s previous director, Matt Davies, owner of Powerhouse Brands, will become editor-in-chief of the network’s content, and will remain involved in committees and other aspects of the organization pertaining to content and member benefits.
