NGC Expands into Europe, Buys Majority Stake in Revive Prepaid Management (Sept. 18, 2014)
National Gift Card Corp. (NGC), a Crystal Lake, Ill.-based marketer and supplier of gift cards for use in loyalty, incentive and rewards programs, today announced it’s expanding operations, retail partners and customers to Europe. Its expansion efforts include the acquisition of a majority stake in Revive Prepaid Management, which provides retailers, restaurants and other businesses with gift card solutions. The U.K.-based company also provides and manages business employee incentive programs and customer loyalty programs, using traditional and digital gift cards.
NGC Corp.’s new European division, called ngcEurope, will offer fully managed gift card solutions and will supply traditional and digital gift cards for bulk fulfillment to retail partners in the U.K. and Europe, including iTunes U.K. and Amazon.co.uk, with more to come, according to the company. Andrew Johnson, managing director of Revive Prepaid Management, will lead ngcEurope.
