People on the Move: Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Hoople, Meta Financial Group Inc. Board of Directors
Meta Financial Group Inc. announced that Elizabeth G. “Betty” Hoople has joined the company’s board of directors. Hoople retired from Wells Fargo in 2013 as senior vice president and head of marketing for Wells Fargo’s credit card division, and she currently is a marketing and payments industry consultant based in San Francisco. Her 30-plus years in the banking industry include management positions at Citibank and Providian Financial.
Jeanne Partlow will retire from the board following Meta’s annual meeting in January 2015. She has served as a director since 1996. Partlow retired in June 1998 as president of the Iowa Savings Bank Division of MetaBank. She was president, CEO and chairman of Iowa Savings Bank F.S.B., from 1986 until December 1995, when Iowa Savings Bank was acquired by MetaBank.
