People on the Move: Gerald Sachs, Paul Hastings LLP
Global law firm Paul Hastings LLP announced that Gerald Sachs has joined the firm’s global banking and payments systems practices in Washington, D.C., as of counsel. Sachs, who has experience in regulatory enforcement, auto finance and traditional and emerging payment systems, previously worked as senior counsel for policy and strategy at the CFPB’s Office of Enforcement. He also served as Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia and as an attorney for the FTC’s Southeast Region Office.
