Wave Crest Launches MyFare Prepaid Card for Fleet Owners (Oct. 21, 2014)
Wave Crest Group Ltd., a Gibraltar-based multicurrency digital payments provider, has launched the MyFare debit card in the U.S., which enables fleet owners to pay their drivers instantly on a personalized prepaid card. Cardholders have quick access to their funds as well as the ability to manage their accounts online or using a mobile app, and they can make deposits to the account using direct deposit, remote deposit check capture and cash.
Wave Crest, which was honored as a Boundary Buster in the 2014 Paybefore Awards, said benefits of the MyFare prepaid card program for fleet owners include increased driver retention by enabling drivers immediate access to their funds, cost saving by reducing operational costs associated with paper payments, fraud and theft protection and full-service account management with reporting and management tools available.
