People on the Move: Jeff Weikert and Fran Duggan, Payveris
Payveris, an online and mobile payments company, has appointed Jeff Weikert president. He will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s digital payment enterprise, growth objectives and strategic direction. He also will focus on the customer-facing side of the business: sales, client development and marketing. Weikert has 30 years of experience in the financial services and technology industry in a variety of executive roles at companies, such as Deloitte & Touche, Bank of America, SunTrust, Deluxe Corp., CheckFree (now part of Fiserv) and RewardsNOW. Fran Duggan the founder and president of Payveris is moving to the newly created role of chief operating officer, and he’ll be responsible for overseeing Payveris’ product vision and development, operations and client services teams.
