People on the Move: Kevin Watson, Marco Ferrari and Mark Hastings, VendorSafe
The board of directors of VendorSafe, a provider of cloud-managed IT security services, has named Kevin Watson CEO. He previously was chairman and CEO of Verid Inc., a provider of remote identity verification technology, and founder and managing partner of C/max Capital Corp., where he led a series of investment rounds for companies including About.com and Adjoined Consulting. VendorSafe also announced it’s entering a growth phase as Providence Equity Partners has become the company’s majority shareholder. As part of the transaction, Providence’s Marco Ferrari and Mark Hastings will join the VendorSafe board of directors.
