BAML boosts EMEA GTS team with internal promotions
Bank of America Merrill Lynch has made a series of internal promotions in its EMEA Global Transaction Services team.
Peter Jameson (right) has been named head of trade, in which role he will lead the trade team in their work with bankers, treasury sales and product teams “to leverage the wider BAML platform to create focused working capital solutions” for multinational, middle-market and FI clients. He remains co-head of product management.
Matthew Davies (left) has been appointed co-head of product management, working alongside Jameson. In this role, he will oversee the development and deployment of payments, receivables, channels, information services and commercial card solutions for corporate clients across the region.
Geoff Mizen (right) has been named head of strategic solution delivery. He will be responsible for solution packaging and communication, proposal management, product consulting and contract management activity in the region.
Suzanne Janse van Rensburg (left) has been promoted to managing director and has joined the GTS senior leadership team as head of liquidity.
All are internal appointments, which the banks says “demonstrates the talent and versatility we have across the team”.
Jennifer Boussuge, head of GTS EMEA said: “Peter, Matthew, Geoff and Suzanne have demonstrated impressive leadership as members of my senior leadership team. Peter’s wealth of knowledge of the business and extensive relationships with key stakeholders and trade partners ideally place him for success in his expanded position. Similarly, Matthew’s prior roles as head of strategic solution delivery and strategic relationships for GTS EMEA, combined with his sales leadership roles, position him well to help develop and deploy the full suite of product solutions to our corporate clients. Geoff also brings a depth of experience to his new role. He has worked in diverse positions across BofAML for over 25 years which ideally place him for helping to develop end-to-end client solutions. Suzanne’s promotion reflects the growing significance of liquidity and the impact of the Basel III Liquidity Coverage Ratio on our clients and the bank, as well as her strong leadership and expertise in this area since joining the firm in 2011.”
