BCS boosts cross sales with IBM Commerce campaigns
Russian investment banking firm BCS Financial Group says using IBM Commerce to create and manage personalised marketing campaigns has increased cross sales of its online trading, brokerage, and investment strategy consulting services have increased by 20% in six months.
BCS, in collaboration with IBM Business Partner GlowByte Consulting, used IBM Commerce to plan, execute and measure targeted marketing campaigns that use analytics to pinpoint customer insights. These insights can include whether the customer banks online or with a mobile device, or whether a company is looking to make an investment to grow its business.
“Marketing financial services today demands the highest level of personalisation, which means giving each individual customer marketing messages at precisely the right time and on their preferred channel of choice,” said Maxim Puzyrev, director of client marketing at BCS. “In teaming with IBM and GlowByte, we are seeing tremendous progress in meeting this shift in the financial services industry to engage with a new type of banking customer and deliver the experience they want while simultaneously building advocates for BCS.”
Vladimir Skudin, chief operating officer at GlowByte, said: “At a time when the wealth of available data can be overwhelming to marketers, businesses such as BCS are turning this into a strategic advantage that sets them apart from their competitors while better meeting the needs of their customers.”
