CFPB Consumer Finance Research Conference May 7-8 (April 20, 2015)
The CFPB is holding a conference next month that it says will focus on high-quality consumer finance research, with academic and government experts presenting data. The conference is being held 1-5 p.m., May 7-8, at United States Bureau of Engraving and Printing, 300 14th Street S.W., Washington, D.C., 20228.
The CFPB’s goal with the conference is “to connect the core community of researchers and policymakers with the best research being conducted across the wide range of disciplines and approaches that can inform the topic of consumer finance.” Members of academia, government agencies, nonprofit agencies and industry are encouraged to attend.
This event is open to the public, space permitting, but attendees must register by Friday, May 1, 2015.
