People on the Move: Brian Mooney, Merchant Customer Exchange (MCX)
Merchant Customer Exchange (MCX), developer of the CurrentC mobile payment platform, has appointed financial services and payment industry veteran Brian V. Mooney as the company’s interim CEO. Mooney succeeds Dekkers Davidson. Mooney most recently served as CEO and a board member of Bank of America Merchant Services, where he oversaw all aspects of client engagement and product strategies, including mobile, sales, operations, risk and compliance. He previously served as chief financial officer, and later president, at First Data Merchant Services.
