People on the Move: Patrick Dix, SHAZAM Network
The SHAZAM Network has added Patrick Dix to the company’s marketing team as a senior public relations manager. Dix has more than 20 years of public relations and writing experience.
He spent the majority of his career as an anchor of the top morning newscast on WHO-HD in Des Moines, Iowa. He has received awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, the William Randolph Hearst Foundation and the Midwest Broadcast News Association. In 2012, he began teaching media training courses focusing on how to get stories on air and how to deal with media in a crisis situation. As PR manager at SHAZAM, he’ll offer similar services to community financial institutions.
