People on the Move: Brad Fauss, NBPCA
The NBPCA has announced that Brad Fauss has been elected to serve as its new president and CEO. Fauss, who was serving as interim executive director and general counsel, was unanimously elected by the board of directors and will immediately assume the new position. In addition to his recent term as interim executive director, Fauss previously served as general counsel, chairman of the board and as a director through nearly a decade of involvement with the NBPCA.
Fauss is an accomplished attorney with more than 20 years of experience, most of which has been focused on payments law, including senior leadership positions with Brightwell Payments, TSYS Prepaid and Global Payments, among others. Fauss most recently served as the executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary for Brightwell Payments. He is a frequent speaker on legal, regulatory and compliance topics related to the prepaid card industry. Fauss succeeds Doug Bower, who resigned as executive director earlier this year for health reasons.
