People on the Move: Rama Sridhar, Matthew Driver, T.V. Seshadri, Porush Singh and Julienne Loh, MasterCard
MasterCard recently announced several personnel changes for its Asia-Pacific business. The payments network has appointed Rama Sridhar to the new role of group head, regional lead, Asia-Pacific, network, processing and security solutions. She is responsible for integrating the services of network products, processing and enterprise security solutions into the regional go-to-market strategies. Sridhar previously was MasterCard’s group head and general manager, strategic accounts division, Asia-Pacific, where she was responsible for growing MasterCard’s business with key strategic clients
MasterCard appointed Matthew Driver group executive, global products and solutions for Asia-Pacific. He will lead the development of innovative products and services that benefit consumers, merchants, business partners and governments across the region. Driver joined MasterCard in 2002 and has more than 26 years of experience in banking, payments and business services, having worked extensively across Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas. Most recently, he was the president of Southeast Asia, responsible for managing all aspects of the MasterCard business in the division.
Driver takes over for T.V. Seshadri, who has been appointed to the newly created role of head of business process simplification, Asia-Pacific. He has held several management roles within MasterCard over the last 18 years in Singapore and India. MasterCard also appointed Porush Singh division president for South-Asia, and Julienne Loh senior vice president and group head, core products, global products and solutions for Asia-Pacific.
Singh leads the South-Asia team to drive core business growth and execute on the nascent, but fast growing, emerging payments opportunities in the region. He will be based in Delhi and succeeds Ari Sarker, who was appointed co-president for the Asia-Pacific region. Singh most recently was senior vice president and group head, core products, global products and solutions for Asia-Pacific, where he undertook the development and management of consumer and commercial products for the region, including debit, credit, commercial, prepaid, and loyalty solutions.
Loh, who was previously group head, consumer credit, Asia-Pacific, led the strategic development and execution of consumer credit products in Asia-Pacific as MasterCard looks to expand its customer base in the growing region. In her new role, she will oversee the development and management of all consumer and commercial payment solutions for Asia-Pacific. She has been with MasterCard since 2005, and has more than 20 years of experience in business, marketing and financial sectors.
