People on the Move: Nandan Mer, MasterCard
MasterCard announced the appointment of Nandan Mer, who is currently group executive of loyalty solutions based in London, to the role of division president for Japan. The appointment will be effective Sept. 1, 2015. Mer will have overall responsibility for MasterCard’s operations in Japan. He will focus on deepening business alliances with the company’s customer base in Japan to enhance MasterCard brand awareness and promote the growing usage and acceptance of MasterCard payment solutions in this key market. He joined MasterCard in 2010 as group executive, global consumer credit.
