JWG hires MD for RegDelta platform push
JWG, the financial services regulation specialist, has appointed Blythe Barber as managing director as part of the continuation of the company’s expansion.
Barber has been hired as part of an expansion of JWG’s RegDelta regulatory change management platform. RegDelta provides a complete and up-to-date ‘golden source’ library containing the documentation financial institutions need to maintain control and manage regulatory change. It combines this database with configurable search and retrieval tools, allowing users to find and prioritise the regulations that matter to them.
With more than 12 years of capital markets experience, Barber has held a number of senior positions including director at Expand Research (subsidiary of the Boston Consulting Group), managing principal at Capco and senior trader at Schneider Trading Associates. Having worked with the top 30 global banks, he has “an extensive network throughout the front, middle and back-offices of the largest financial services industry firms and a strong set of senior relationships, and is ideally placed to help inject JWG into exciting new partnerships”, the company said.
PJ Di Giammarino, chief executive at JWG, said: “I am delighted to have another strong leader on board the team. As the industry tightens the nuts and bolts of G20’s regulatory framework, he will help our clients face a pile of paperwork more than three Eiffel Towers tall by offering solutions which enable them to spot, know, assess and address every piece of relevant regulation.”
