People on the Move: Bryan Murphy, YapStone
YapStone, a global provider of Web and mobile payments technology solutions for large vertical markets and online marketplaces, has appointed Bryan Murphy president. Murphy joins YapStone after nearly four years at eBay where he was most recently vice president, North American verticals, focused on growing multiple vertical businesses, including fashion, consumer electronics, home and garden, motors, collectibles and art, and business and industrial, among others. He also has served as vice president and general manager of eBay Motors. Murphy joined eBay after selling WHI Solutions, where he was co-founder and CEO, to eBay in 2012.
