People on the Move: Donald Duberstein, Mobetize Corp.
Mobile commerce solutions provider Mobetize Corp. has appointed Donald Duberstein independent director and chairman of the Remuneration Committee. In addition to owning and managing an extensive portfolio of residential and commercial properties across the U.S. over the past 38 years, Duberstein co-founded and chaired a skin care company and has been an active investor in a number of private and public companies in various sectors, including display advertising, water filtration systems and sports teams. He also served on the board of directors of Selvac Corp. He was one of Mobetize’s earliest investors, according to the company.
