Bruce Wallace and Michael Dreyer, Silicon Valley Bank
Silicon Valley Bank announced that Bruce Wallace is taking on the role of chief digital officer and Michael Dreyer is joining the company’s executive management team as chief operations officer. In the newly created role, Wallace is tasked with transforming the company’s digital banking experience and overseeing SVB’s fee-based product businesses.
Dreyer, who succeeds Wallace as COO, will oversee SVB’s core operations, enterprise project management, client service and information technology teams. Formerly COO and president of the Americas for Monitise, Dreyer was responsible for the design, build and operations of its technology globally and ran the company’s Americas business. Among several other previous roles, he was the CIO of Visa Inc., responsible for the company’s systems and technology platforms and CIO of Inovant, where he oversaw the development and management of Visa’s global systems technology.
