Emprise Bank picks FIS as core banking provider
Emprise Bank, based in Kansas in the US, has selected FIS as its new core banking provider. The bank, which has $1 billion in assets and 37 branches, selected FIS on the basis of its need for high levels of support, and capacity to provide a single platform that would integrate a set of technologies. That in turn allowed the bank to reduce its requirement to manage multiple system vendor relationships, with the associated risk and cost.
It previously operated without electronic funds transfer and card integration, and wanted a system that would pull everything from account opening to card production and transaction processing in the same place, with faster end-of-day processing and the ability to streamline third-party relationships.
Evaluating FIS as a partner, it identified the functionality of its core solution, including its capacity for integration and clean data management, which would create efficiencies between systems.
“At Emprise Bank, our central focus is providing our customers a better way to bank,” said Teri Ginther, executive vice president at Emprise Bank. “One of the ways we can achieve that is by adding value through more efficient processes. FIS’ solutions and support will allow us to streamline vendor management, which will help us be more responsive to our customers’ needs and deliver on the superior experience they expect from us with each interaction.”
Anthony Jabbour, chief operating officer for Banking and Payments, FIS, said, “Streamlining operations and speeding up services allows community banks like Emprise to better compete.”
