People on the Move: Steve Murphy, Mercator Advisory Group
Mercator Advisory Group has added Steve Murphy to its team as director for the company’s commercial and enterprise payments advisory service. His professional history includes roles in consumer cards spanning credit operations, fraud policy, marketing and product development. He was a member of e-Citi and worked closely with the Citibank consumer e-banking team. On the corporate side, after joining the Citi Transaction Services division, Murphy oversaw the commercial cards European business expansion and subsequently, as part of the regional transaction banking team in Hong Kong, built Citibank’s Asia-Pacific commercial cards startup business.
