BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) has announced that it has appointed Rudi Collin as Head of Digital Transformation for CIB.
Previously Collin was head of Electronic Business and Markets for the Global Markets business and prior to this, was chief operating officer for the fixed income division of the bank.
In his new role, he will be responsible for leading the digital transformation for BNP Paribas’ Corporate and Institutional Bank, where digital technology plays a fundamental strategic role.
Collin said, “Technology is evolving at a fast pace and is having a profound impact on BNP Paribas clients, both in terms of expectations and in how they work. For BNP Paribas this means putting clients first and making their experience more seamless and agile. I am looking forward to working with clients and colleagues alike, in continuing to deliver innovative, first class solutions across BNP Paribas corporate and institutional bank.”
BNP Paribas Group has been building up its capacity to engage in digital transformation with the appointment of several senior staff in strategic digital roles, including that of Philippe Denis, chief digital officer at BNP Paribas Securities Services in February 2015.
