People on the Move: Louise Roseman, Federal Reserve Board of Governors
Louise Roseman, director of the division of reserve bank operations and payment systems, will retire later this year after more than 30 years of service to the Federal Reserve Board, including 17 as director. The division oversees the Reserve Banks’ operations, including their provision of payment services to the banking and financial system and fiscal agency services to the Treasury and other government agencies. She began her career at the board in 1985, when she joined the division as a program leader. She was appointed to official staff in 1987, promoted to associate director in 1994 and made division director in 1999.
