Splitska Banka live with Comarch’s SB SmartNet banking system
Croatia’s Splitska Banka has gone live with SB SmartNet, a new internet and mobile banking system provided by Polish IT specialist Comarch.
SB SmartNet, based on Comarch’s Smart Finance solution, will give Splitska’s retail customers access to account information as well as a multitude of transactional services. The mobile version is designed for iOS and Android operating systems.
Andre-Marc Prudent, chairman and CEO of Splitska Banka, says its “vision” is to provide a “user-friendly app” and a “top-notch service channel positioning us among the most technologically advanced banks on the Croatian market”.
Sławomir Gierek, director of digital banking business unit at Comarch, says: “It is no longer about offering standard banking services but relevant assistance on the management of funds.”
Gierek adds that this includes “remember about your loan instalment, due next week” or “set limits on your spending, see our suggestions”.
Prudent says Splitska, which is part of the Société Générale Group, has a long-term objective to “extend the functionality of mobile and internet channels to all customer segments”, including over 2,500 companies Splitska Banka is currently working with.
Back in 2013, Comarch launched a mobile business banking solution aimed at banks that want to give corporates, SMEs and micro business customers a mobile offering. It is likely that Splitska will rely on this solution to extend its mobile offering to corporate customers.
Comarch also offers a host-to-host banking solution designed to allow corporates to issue bank instructions directly from their enterprise resource planning software and automate data exchange including payments, balances, transactions orders and invoices.
