Allpay gives two-year outsourcing deal to Realex Payments
Realex Payments, a European payment service provider and part of the Global Payments group, has signed a two-year outsourcing contract with Allpay, a UK bill payments collection specialist.
The agreement will see Allpay’s online payments processed through Realex’s managed eCommerce solution, and Realex says it will process approximately £1 billion transactions each year over the contract.
Allpay collects nearly £6 billion a year and processes over 55 million transactions. It says it sought an alternative solution to its existing in-house system to “meet current and future payment technology demands”.
Nick Peplow, bill payments director at Allpay, observes that “since partnering with Realex Payments, we have simplified our auditing process dramatically, saving us valuable time”.
He adds that Realex “consistently demonstrated its expertise and customer service ethos” and the company “looks forward to scaling to additional payment methods”.
The industry standard, PCI-DSS, is “simplified” for Allpay, as card-holder data is processed within Realex’s PCI-DSS v3.1 compliant environment.
Realex also provides Allpay with a customised hosted payment page.
