Volante Technologies makes inroads into Turkey via tie-up with Payfessional
Volante and Payfessional ink a partnership deal
Financial messaging and payment specialist Volante Technologies has inked a partnership agreement with Payfessional, a Turkey-based IT firm. The tie-up will see Payfessional offering Volante’s VolPay suite of payment integration and processing solutions to the Turkish banking market.
Payfessional, which focuses on e-payment processing solutions for the financial services industry, will also market the solution across a wider region.
Volante currently has one client in Turkey (one of the country’s largest banks, according to Volante). The vendor hopes to attract many more with the help of Payfessional, pitching the joint offering as a quicker, more reliable and economical alternative to what’s available in the region today.
VolPay Foundation supports payment flow integration requirements (domestic and international) and payment financial message standards. VolPay Channel is an onboarding tool for corporate payment flows. VolPay Hub supports the take-on, processing and orchestration of new payment flows. It enables real-time, centralised control and visibility of payments and cash management, says Volante.
Allan Spalding, EMEA partners director, Volante, observes that “Istanbul is a young, fast-growing financial hub, and as a result banks might not have the usual challenges of dealing with legacy systems that need updating. However, as we have seen with other financial markets across the globe, firms in the region must still contend with new and ever-changing payment messages, formats and channels.”
