Three vendors join forces for new digital banking platform
Unisys, Sandstone Technology and Payment Card Technologies (PCT) are bringing to market a new digital banking solution.
The solution, called USP, will consist of the “best of breed” products from each vendor, all “seamlessly” integrated.
USP is aimed at new market entrants and established players. The participating vendors describe it as “cost-effective”.
It will support the origination of mortgages, loans, savings and current accounts. It will also provide built-in adaptive biometric and data analytics.
USP can be delivered on a hosted basis (from a private or public cloud) or deployed onsite.
The cyber-security aspect is covered by the Unisys Stealth software solution.
Australia-based Sandstone is a well-established digital banking software vendor. In addition to its domestic market, it has a strong presence in the UK where it is used by many small players. Customers include Shawbrook Bank, Cumberland Building Society and Secure Trust Bank. The latest addition is Private & Commercial Finance Group (PCFG), which is currently awaiting a banking licence.
London-based PCT is a newer kid on the block – it was founded in 2008. It specialises in prepaid and debit card programme management.
