Copedu searches for new core banking system and consultant
Co-operative of Savings and Credit Duterimbere (Copedu), a non-profit finance organisation in Rwanda, is looking for a consultant to help it select and implement new core banking software.
The consultant will be working with Copedu’s technology department and assist the project manager and the company’s senior executives for best practices in project management.
From the project initiation document (PID) and RFP for a new core banking system available, the consultant will help develop the full project plan, send out RFPs, assess the responses and make the selection.
The consultant will then be involved in all stages of the implementation, including testing, training, system customisation and migration, creating new procedure manuals etc.
This will be a nine-month project and the consultancy work is for the entire period (hence, daily rates do not apply).
Codepu says that a schedule is yet to be established and will be open to negotiation prior to signing of the contract.
The successful candidate must demonstrate the knowledge of Rwanda’s central bank (National Bank of Rwanda) requirements.
Bidding closes on 24th June 2016.
