Panin Bank launches digital banking service with Fiserv
Panin Bank, a retail and business bank in Indonesia, has launched new digital banking products and services using Fiserv’s Mobiliti and Corillian Online.
Ken Ng, director of retail banking, Panin Bank, says Fiserv has allowed it to develop an “innovative, feature-rich and integrated digital banking service that consumers have come to expect in the modern banking landscape”.
Corillian Online will be used to combine “common” online banking functionalities – such as account balances, statements, transfers, notifications, alerts, electronic bills and payments – onto a single screen.
Panin has also deployed new mobile banking and payments services through Mobiliti. Customers can access financial information, transfer funds and pay bills via three modes: SMS (text) messaging, mobile browser and smartphone apps.
The bank is a long-standing user of Fiserv’s Signature core banking platform.
It also worked with Fiserv to implement a customer relationship management (CRM) system. Panin implemented Aperio from Fiserv in 2013, which provided both branch operations and relationship management components.
Panin was established in 1971 resulting from the merger of Prosperity Bank, Bank Industri Jaya, Trade and Industry Bank Indonesia. It has around 350 offices in various major cities in Indonesia and more than 16,000 ATMs. Australia and New Zealand-based banking group, ANZ, has a 30% stake in the bank.
