People on the Move: David Landau, Ballard Spahr
Ballard Spahr LLP has announced that David Landau has joined the firm as a partner in its New York office. With expertise in handling mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, debt and equity financing and other transactions, Landau routinely represents issuers and investment banks in equity offerings, high-yield debt offerings and investment-grade debt offerings. He also advises on securities regulatory and general corporate matters. Landau joins Ballard Spahr from Katten Muchin Rosenman, where he was a partner in that firm’s mergers and acquisitions and securities practices. Landau represents clients in the U.S. and abroad in industries including fashion and retail, financial services, technology, and media and entertainment. His arrival expands Ballard Spahr’s depth in mergers and acquisitions and securities and bolsters its transactional capabilities in New York—all of which are strategic priorities for the firm.
