People on the Move: Jeff Nager, The Bancorp
The Bancorp has named Jeff Nager as senior vice president and director, government guaranteed lending. Nager has had a 20-year career in SBA/small business lending and brings a wide range of banking expertise to the company. He comes to The Bancorp from SunTrust Bank, where he led the SBA lending team for more than five years. Prior to joining SunTrust, Nager held SBA-focused leadership positions at Wells Fargo, Community South Bank and several other national SBA lenders. Nager currently is a board member for the National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders (NAGGL), the trade organization for SBA 7(a) lending. Nager will lead The Bancorp’s national SBA team from its new SBA location in Raleigh, N.C.
