People on the Move: Robert Courtneidge, Locke Lord, Payments Power 10 List
Robert Courtneidge, global head of the cards and payments practice in the London office of Locke Lord LLP, has been selected again by the Payments Power 10, marking his fifth consecutive year on the highly competitive ranking. Courtneidge placed 5th on this year’s list of influential payments individuals and is the only attorney ranked for 2016.
The Payments Power 10 recognizes top contributors to the payment industry through nominations from the international payments community. Global industry leaders then vote on the nominees, the results of which were announced at PayExpo Europe, the UK’s largest payments technology annual event.
Courtneidge has more than 26 years of experience in the cards and payment systems practice and is an expert in consumer finance issues, including consumer protection, banking regulation and compliance and data protection. He is noted for his knowledge and experience in the e-money area, where he has acted on matters for major financial institutions around the world, as well as for internationally known technology providers.
