Texas-based Frontier Bank implements new board portal, DirectorsLink
Banc Intranets, a US provider of enterprise content management software, has onboarded Frontier Bank for its DirectorsLink web-based board portal.
The Texan bank “sought to reduce time and costs associated with its board processes”, according to the vendor. DirectorsLink was chosen at the recommendation of Frontier Bank’s IT security vendor, Solis.
The bank is now completing training and plans to go live with DirectorsLink in October this year.
Banc Intranets says its portal “will provide the bank’s board members and officers with a secure, easy-to-use platform to plan for and participate in meetings, while reducing the amount of paper and hours spent in preparing materials”. There is also automated archiving functionality that maintains the logs and details of every board meeting and can be used for audits.
Danyse Crowder, SVP of Frontier Bank, comments that “delivering personalised, community-centred banking services that provide customers the financial sophistication of a larger financial institution is achieved by prioritising internal efficiencies at the leadership level”.
Frontier Bank was set up in 2007 by five local entrepreneurs. It is a small entity working with consumers and companies, with its motto being “know you by your first name banking”.
