New cash and liquidity management system at Bank Mendes Gans
A Dutch international cash management services specialist, Bank Mendes Gans (BMG), is implementing a new cash and liquidity management system, SmartStream’s Corona.
It will go live in Q4 2016, managing BMG’s 500,000 transactions per month.
SmartStream says the new solution will enable BMG “to access intraday liquidity with an overview of all bank transactions, whilst at the same time complying with regulation and auditing requirements”.
Also, as the bank has a large number of correspondents, Corona will enable BMG “to monitor all transactions and provide detailed information on performance”.
Edzer Dirksen, EVP and manager of client services at BMG, says the new platform will help the bank “react faster and with more flexibility”.
BMG is a subsidiary of the ING Group.
