People on the Move: Brian Riley, Mercator Advisory Group
Mercator Advisory Group has added Brian Riley to its team as director of the consultancy’s Credit Advisory Service. Riley has spent more than 25 years working for credit card issuers including Chase, Citi, HFC and Wachovia, holding senior management and system design positions, with an emphasis on applying scoring and technology solutions to acquisition, credit, collection and fraud. Following a six-year stint running his own boutique consulting firm, Riley spent the past 10 years at TowerGroup, where he was a principal executive advisor in the company’s payments service. Riley has been regularly quoted in major media outlets, discussing topics such as emerging payments, interchange, regulatory intervention, mobile payments and gift cards, among others.
