People on the Move: Bill Ready, PayPal Inc.
PayPal Inc. has named Bill Ready Chief Operating Officer, the first time that position has been filled since PayPal became an independent company in July 2015. Previously, Ready was PayPal’s senior vice president, global head of product and engineering—a position he held since August 2015. Prior to that he was the payment provider’s senior vice president, merchant and next generation commerce. Prior to PayPal, Ready was CEO of payments processor Braintree Inc., which PayPal acquired in December 2013. He also serves as a member of the board of directors of Automatic Data Processing (ADP).
