Isbank launches first P2P money transfer service in Turkey
Turkey’s largest bank Isbank has launched a new P2P money transfer service, called “social account”, available for the “first time” in the republic.
The launch quickly follows on from the release of its new app, IsCep, to allow “for the first time” banking and stock exchange transactions through one application with real-time data.
With the social account feature, IsCep users can add contacts from their contact lists to their social account directory, and invite them to contribute to their organisations and they can also monitor the turnout of the organisations.
Invitations can be sent up to 50 people per organisation through SMS or push notification. The user can track how many people are linked to the events at any time as well as the amount of funds collected. It can be used on smart phones with iOS or Android operating systems.
Isbank customers can also send invitations to non-Isbank customers via SMS and the non-Isbank customers can contribute to the organisation by sending funds to the social account via electronic funds transfer (EFT).
