Isbank partners with PPRO for cross-border payments
Turkey’s largest bank Isbank is partnering with PPRO Group for cross-border payments in more regions.
The deal means the bank can offer e-commerce merchants 13 local alternative payment methods worldwide. Isbank says it can now also extend access to real-time online banking payment methods and e-wallets in more than 25 countries in Europe, Asia and Latin America to merchants looking to enter “leading” and emerging e-commerce markets.
Isbank deputy CEO Yalcın Sezen says with the partnership it is “opening the gates to secure e-commerce for our merchants which will help to boost Turkey’s export figures”.
PPRO offers acquiring services for a multitude of international alternative payment methods across more than 100 countries. It is done under one contract, through one single integration and one platform, according to the firm. PPRO was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in London.
